| Our
annual Clay Shoot is held at the stunning 3,000 acre Cokenach Estate in
Hertfordshire. The Clay Shoots are a Lignacite tradition - we've been hosting
them for over 20 years, and they're a great opportunity to see old friends as
well as make new ones. |
 |
| Guests come from all over the country and
have a wide range of interests within the construction industry - from
architects and builders' merchants to contractors and managing directors. |
 |
| Don't worry if you've never held a shotgun
before: qualified instructors are present at each trap to reassure you and help
improve your aim. |
 |
| To provide some healthy competition, guests
are grouped into six teams of twelve, each with a Lignacite team captain. There
are prizes for best team, top gun and best novice, as well as a bottle of
champagne for those who are lucky enough to shoot a clay which bursts pink. |

|
Refreshments are provided throughout the
day. There is a three course sit-down meal at lunchtime with vegetarian options
available on request. |
